Day 24 - Hoping for a "Pooper-Scooper"

Years ago when my family participated in the annual AIDS Walk, a “pooper-scooper” picked up walkers who were too pooped to continue.  This week I found myself looking over my shoulder to see if I could hitch a ride on a pooper-scooper. Alas, one never appeared.
But then yesterday I stumbled upon a PB story idea while watching an outrageous stand-up comic with my daughter.  It turned into my favorite PB during this marathon.
Today tap your friends, neighbors, family members, co-workers, grocer (?), hairdresser, letter-carrier, etc. for their PB ideas.  Who knows, one of their stories may be a gem worth stealing.
Or think big!  Take one of your previous stories and write a sequel.

  1. These are all great ideas. I was sitting at lunch today and watched some children playing around me - their voices and actions gave me some new thoughts. Thank you again!

  2. I looked in my "Pooper-Basket" and hiding in the corner was a story idea I've been looking for. I need to write a 150 word story and have been trying this whole month. Doing the marathon, gave me a lot of ideas, but I couldn't cut, cut, cut enough.
I've almost finished the story. Yeah,I love my "Pooper-Basket"!!!

  3. I got one for my office mate on Robins in the Snow! I am at 22 now. Grandchildren coming - inspiration or distraction? Or exhaustion?

  4. I am on Day two behind! grrrrrrrrr....and I am fading out...can't seem to find anything that really grabs me! I don't have a pooper anything to consult...ugh...
